The development of 45 No. high quality affordable homes for Bradford MDC, twelve of which have been designed and constructed to Code for Sustainable Homes Level 6 with the remaining properties to Code Level 4.
All house layouts are designed to comply with Design Quality Standards and Lifetime Homes. Features of these property types include super insulated timber frame construction, renewable energies from solar PV, thermal panels, biomass boilers, rainwater harvesting, recycling & composting facilities.
The scheme won the Legacy Award for Sustainability at the 2011 Yorkshire and Humber Construction Best Practice Awards.
