The Spool House Private Rental Development
Phase 4 complete, other phases on-going
The Spool House is part of Pickard Properties £40m private rental development scheme, Spinning Acres, in Far Headingley.
The newest residential property in this scheme features a mix of 12 one-and-two-bedroom apartments. The Spool House, which has been built by local contractor Dobson Construction, is the fourth phase of Pickard Properties’ ambitious six-acre regeneration property.
The future-proofed, all-electric building has roof-installed solar panels, while the apartments are fitted with radiators containing a natural stone core, which prolongs the heat created to transfer it efficiently around the property.
It has already been recognised for its quality having secured the Best New High Volume Housing Development Award from the Local Authority Building Control and the Best Small Development category in the Yorkshire Residential Property Awards.
