Private Client Extension

This project involved the demolition of an existing rear extension and creation of a flat roof single storey living space which is clean and contemporary in its appearance bringing the outside in.

The design has been carefully considered to create a contemporary link between the existing ground floor and garden level with large 3.1m tall sliding doors which provide a seamless link between indoor and outdoor spaces.

The windows point directly south to take advantage of the large rear garden and views beyond. A 1m overhang to the roof edge, giving a floating appearance to the structure which provides shading from solar gain.

Two large flat roof lanterns are positioned on the roof to ensure additional daylight can fall into the deep floor plan and into the existing kitchen space adding to the contemporary feel of the space.
