The Role

Halliday Clark Architects are looking to appoint a Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join our team in Ilkley, working on an exciting range of projects across a number of sectors including private housing, affordable housing, education and commercial projects. 

The Practice

Halliday Clark was established in 1993 by David Halliday and Adam Clark and has grown to earn a reputation for delivering award-winning and prestigious schemes throughout the UK.

We don’t pigeon-hole ourselves and so work on a multitude of projects of all shapes and sizes as well as all manner of clients, ranging from private individual clients to multi-national companies and public bodies.

The nature of the work we undertake spans all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work and we use hand-drawn sketches through to complex BIM models to convey our information.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the delivery of projects throughout all RIBA stages as required

Working alongside Project Architects/Directors to develop designs and create presentation material

Liaising with design team members and the local authority

Experience & Knowledge 

Be self-motivated and have exceptional design and presentation skills

RIBA Part 1 qualified

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Technical Skills

Be proficient in Photoshop, InDesign and SketchUp and have a good working knowledge of AutoCAD
