Halliday Clark has announced the completion of a successful management buyout from founders Adam Clark and David Halliday. The 15-strong practice is now headed up by three directors – Nick Pearce, Emily Blowers and Richard Walsh, who have been with the practice in senior roles for a combined 36 years. David and Adam will still be heavily involved in the day to day activities of the business and will not be leaving the company for a minimum period of three years. A big welcome to Maddie, who has started with us this week. Maddie will complete her Part 1 year out here following the successful completion of her degree at Sheffield University. In Maddie’s final project at University she designed a large research centre for fruit production in Liverpool, which incorporated laboratories, a café, and a public realm.
The All Saints Church extension, completed last month, has had a series of successful opening events over the last couple of weeks, which has allowed the congregation of the Church and general public a chance to interact with the new extension and the improvements taken place in the existing Church. It has been great for us to be involved in these, and to celebrate the project. A big well done to everyone involved. It has been a busy couple of months for the team involved in The Walks, Flintshire. David attended the Awards for Planning Excellence hosted by the Royal Town Planning Institute which is one of the most prestigious awards in planning. The Walks in Flint was shortlisted nationally as 1 of 8 best housing schemes over 50 units which is great recognition for the scheme and follows a series of Welsh awards the scheme has won.
