BACKGROUND
Halliday Clark Architects is an award-winning practice based in purpose built offices within the town of Ilkley. Due to ongoing workload we are looking for an Architectural Technologist to join our Technologist to join our successful and dedicated team.
All experience levels will be considered as we are looking for the best individual for a variety of positions available.
With an established client base and reputation of nearly thirty years, Halliday Clark architects continues to advance and develop in a fast-moving and evolving climate. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to apply their experience and ingenuity to a variety of projects, including commercial, industrial, education, residential and housing.
ROLE DETAILS
As an architectural technologist you will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of current construction techniques, standards and procedures and be able to efficiently package this knowledge into appropriate and comprehensive drawing packages. This should be relevant to all RIBA stages of work and assist all stages of drawn information within the construction process with excellent levels of technical skill and professional standards.
The candidate should be able to work within a team as well as independently and have the skills necessary to be able to research, develop and produce relevant work details and technical solutions to a variety of building types, throughout the entire construction process.
You should feel comfortable working with other consultants and construction teams within a fast moving and varied practice. Knowledge and experience of a variety of technical software will be assessed with each candidate, but clear, strategic thinkers with robust knowledge, application and enthusiasm will be considered.
