Emily joined the practice at the start of her career, following the completion of her Architecture degree at Lincoln University. She went on to successfully complete her masters and RIBA Part III, receiving the prestigious ‘John Edmond’s’ award for outstanding achievement.
With over 12 years’ experience, Emily leads the companies large-scale social housing projects as well as having a central role in demanding planning submissions across all sectors. Emily has specialised knowledge in projects involving local authority and housing association clients. This involves leading commissions and large teams focusing on collaboration and coordination between the client, contractor and the wider design team.
With a keen knowledge of contract administration and contract law Emily plays a central role in the design but also more importantly the implementation of projects involving contractual challenges.
Emily is passionate about designing for the future, with Net Zero carbon buildings being integral to this. Halliday Clark is signed up to the RIBA Climate Challenge 2030, and has set internal targets for operation energy, embodied carbon and water use on all the buildings they design.
Emily was appointed as a Director of the Practice in June 2019.
